About Us
Most helpdesk software makes you choose between two bad options: an expensive SaaS platform that bills per agent forever and stores your customers’ data on someone else’s servers, or a free tool that’s really a lead-generator for the paid tier. Teams already running WordPress shouldn’t need either one.
ThickGrass was built to be the third option: a complete, self-hosted support desk that installs like any other WordPress plugin, keeps every ticket in your own database, and doesn’t charge you more the more your team grows.

What we believe in
- Your data is yours. Tickets, calls, and knowledge base articles live in ThickGrass’s own database tables — nothing about running the plugin requires sending customer data to a third party.
- Nothing should be hardcoded. Statuses, priorities, categories, business hours, role mapping, email templates — if it’s a list of values, it’s configurable.
- A license shouldn’t hold your data hostage. If a license lapses, ThickGrass keeps working — fully. Only automatic updates and a quiet admin reminder are affected.
- Support software should work with what you already have. No dependency on a specific theme, page builder, or host.
